Successfully launching a new blue-sky community requires hitting multiple milestones along the way. This is how we helped bring the first Life Plan community to West Plano, TX.

Forefront Living is a longtime leader in senior living in the DFW region, and a valued partner with Anstey Hodge. So when they approached us in 2020 to be part of launching a brand-new Life Plan community in West Plano, TX, we were eager to take part.

One of our very first steps was to gather qualified prospects in the region for initial research, including both interviews and surveys. Not only did this process reveal valuable insights about what the market was looking for in a senior living community, it gave us a group of qualified seniors who would form the foundation of our first prospect database.

Thanks to an efficient digital advertising campaign and smart local events that attracted interested seniors, interest in the new community’s Priority Program was very strong despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. While the Program launched in January 2021 with an initial goal of 325-375 deposits, we averaged 168 new leads per month and reached 430 Priority Members by June. This was an important milestone that kept the community on a positive track to qualify for construction.

Lead gen efforts and sales continued to be strong even as trucks were rolling and foundations were being poured. Every aspect of our marketing efforts—digital and traditional advertising, marketing automation, the website, event promotion, direct mail—worked in concert to continue a strong flow of very interested and very qualified new leads.

At The Outlook at Windhaven’s official opening in Q4 of 2024, Independent Living apartments and cottages were more than 85% reserved. By summer 2025, while we were conducting a new photoshoot of the community, all cottages were sold out and only a few apartments remained available.

Today, our eyes are on the future of The Outlook at Windhaven and how the community can grow and continue to be a leader in senior living in the West Plano area.
