Anstey Hodge was honored to participate in a special ceremony at Tel Hai Retirement Community in Honey Brook, Pennsylvania. A dedication service was held to commemorate the completion of StoneCroft, Tel Hai’s newest 254,000 square foot neighborhood that includes 105 spacious apartments (nine floor plans), a commons building, an indoor pool, a dining venue and a fitness area.
Representatives from each stakeholder group, including Anstey Hodge, participated in the service by constructing a cairn. The structure is made by stacking stones to mark a trail or an important moment in time. Cairns are found in both ancient and current times in a variety of cultures around the world. Tel Hai recognized their significant moment in time (completion of StoneCroft) by having each stakeholder place a stone to build a cairn.
Tel Hai is a Hebrew phrase meaning “Hill of Life.” The nationally accredited, non-profit, continuing care retirement community, located one hour west of Philadelphia, has provided a wide selection of residential living cottages and apartments, 24-hour skilled nursing care, memory support care, rehabilitation services, and adult day services during their 55-year history.
In 2010, Tel Hai partnered with Anstey Hodge Senior, a division of Anstey Hodge, specializing in a wide array of marketing and design services for senior living communities. Since that time, Anstey Hodge has worked with a variety of departments across the community including marketing, development, adult day services, personal care and volunteer services to reposition the Tel Hai brand across service lines. Tel Hai’s campus has continued to grow as they have added more than 160 residential apartments and cottages, as well as reimagining their common spaces.
