Congratulations to our very own Anstey Hodge principal and CEO, John Anstey, as the recipient of the prestigious 2016 Silver Medal Award, advertising’s highest honor and a lifetime achievement award, presented by the American Advertising Federation (AAF). John was honored during a ceremony held at Charter Hall in downtown Roanoke Thursday evening.
The AAF Silver Medal Award Program was established in 1959 to recognize men and women who have made outstanding contributions to their company, their community, and who have also been active in furthering the industry’s advertising and community involvement standards.
John is the second member of the Anstey Hodge team to receive the distinguished award. David Hodge, principal and chief creative officer, was awarded the Silver Medal for his vast industry accomplishments in 2007. Of special note, tonight’s ceremony marks the 50th anniversary of the AAF Roanoke Chapter Silver Medal program, which awarded its first medal in 1966.
