Anstey Hodge mentored Tony, a senior from Hidden Valley High School, through the Roanoke County Public Schools Insight Program. Tony spent 50 hours at Anstey Hodge between August 2015 and April 2016. During that time, Anstey Hodge gave insight into Tony’s possible career path, graphic design.

After today’s downpour, we got a visit from a baby duck that was separated from its little flock that resides down the Greenway. When it started to cross the off-ramp into unfamiliar territory, John interceded. Happy Earth Day!
We were definitely inspired by David Oakley’s talk at this month’s AAF Roanoke luncheon. Founder and Creative Director of Boone Oakley in Charlotte and one of the top creative talents in the country, David shared spirited stories from his new book, “Why is Your Name Upside Down? Stories From a Life in Advertising.” David even took time to visit our office on his way home. Thanks, David, and to AAF Roanoke for another great program.

The Green Goat, one of Roanoke’s newest restaurants, is the recipient of a 2016 Addy Award in the category of Logo Design.
David Hodge served as creative director and art director for the specially designed logo. Sarah Sprigings was the art director and illustrator. John Anstey provided account management services.

Congratulations to Brandon Oaks, a LifeCare retirement community located in Roanoke. Brandon Oaks is the recipient of a 2016 Addy Award in the category of Cross Platform Integrated Advertising Campaigns, Consumer Campaign – Local.
The winning entry included a campaign focusing on three or four residents and their lifestyle and interests within the community. Anstey Hodge Advertising Group has been working with Brandon Oaks since 2014.
