Special Vocal Performance Promoted By Anstey Hodge

Anstey Hodge was proud to be able to provide our PR services to promote an exclusive event held at The Crossings at Ironbridge in Chester, Virginia.

Kelsey Harrison, mezzo-soprano, from Charlotte, North Carolina, conducted a special performance for the residents of The Crossings at Ironbridge.  Harrison’s grandmother, Catherine Tierney, has been a resident of The Crossings at Ironbridge since 2013.  “My grandmother has attended every single recital I have ever given, that is why it is so important to me now to bring this recital to her.  She has always been my biggest fan and supporter,” Harrison said.

Anstey Hodge Hosts LeadingAge VA Reception

LeadingAge Virginia attendees, arriving in Roanoke for the Annual Conference and Trade Show, received a warm welcome from Anstey Hodge.

Guests were invited to “fill up” at the gas station (Anstey Hodge office) by enjoying a delectable assortment of locally produced food and refreshing beverages.

“Your Brand Is More Than Your Logo” was the topic of a presentation given by Angela Hamilton, executive vice president of Anstey Hodge during the LeadingAge Virginia Annual Conference and Trade Show held at the Hotel Roanoke on June 3-5, 2015.

During her session, Angela shared the importance of branding, both for communities and for individual professionals. She shared examples of how senior living communities can implement branding best practices.

FourDesign Visits Anstey Hodge

Anstey Hodge enjoyed a visit by the FourDesign staff today! We were thrilled to be able to share some of our experiences and creative work with this talented group of graphic design students.

FourDesign is a student-run, faculty-led design studio located on the campus of Virginia Tech.

Martinsville-Henry County Guide Wins MarCom Award

Anstey Hodge is proud to be recognized for work that was designed for the The Martinsville-Henry County Economic Development Corporation. The Martinsville-Henry County Tourism Division’s new logo received a Platinum MarCom Award and the Martinsville-Henry County Activity Guide was honored with a Gold MarCom Award.

The recognition took place in Dallas, Texas. More than 6,500 entries for the competition were received from throughout the United States, Canada and 15MarCom 2 other countries.

Angela Hamilton, executive vice president with Anstey Hodge, participated in the 2015 Georgia/South Carolina Conference on Aging. The conference, held in Hilton Head, South Carolina, provided valuable information about new ideas and trends in the ever growing and changing industry of care and services for older adults. Angela was part of a panel discussion that addressed “The Marketing Mix: Finding the Importance of Brand, Media Usage and Social Media. The panel gave their insight on how older adults are consuming information through a mix of traditional and digital media.

Performance Beyond: The Campaign for Jefferson Center was announced during a news conference at the historic cultural facility in downtown Roanoke on April 17, 2015. Anstey Hodge was proud to partner with the Jefferson Center to implement this extraordinary fundraising effort designed to raise $4 million to ensure the long-term viability of the historic cultural facility and provide a means to strengthen and enhance imperative community services.
